Everytime I get the 1603 error - if I click on it brings me to a page with requirements which I meet
I have windows 7 sp1 32bit - direct x 11
Do I need windows 10?
Hello @Deirdre_Flynn, to run Prezi Video you need to have Windows 10, as you can see in this article.

Thanks Catarina - you’ll have to update the link on the error message so!
@Deirdre_Flynn could you please send us the error message so we can forward this to designated team?
When the error 1603 comes up for prezi video - it has a help button which brings you to this page: https://support.prezi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003498693-Downloading-and-installing-the-desktop-app
Of the page? I’ve deleted the download of the app of the computer - but when it wouldn’t install a page comes up with a crashed paper plane and two buttons - one says Help - the other close - when you click on help it brings you to the above link
Hello Catarina.
I have tried doing all the options, but the 1603 error continues.
I have windows 8.1.
Install and uninstall the folders and files, run /vc_redist.x64.exe and the error continues.
I would appreciate if you can help me.
Thanks
Greetings

My pc is windows 7…
I started a free trial…
can it be a reason?
Hi @Ozkan_Hazar, I’ve merged your topic into the relevant thread.
To run Prezi Video you need to have Windows 10 installed. You can check the system requirements in this article.
Let us know if you have further questions!
Hi,
I am running Windows 10 Education on my computer, and thus far I’ve tried the C++ solution and the “delete Prezi files, restart and retry” (no option to change destination folder available) solution. 1603 keeps appearing. What gives? Do you have a portable version?
Hello @Even_Einum, could you please let me know where you got the installer from and if you are on a 32 or a 64-bit system?
Also, unfortunately, 1603 is a generic installation error message. We might need to look into MSI logs to find the exact cause of the issue.
