Black screen - Can't edit my Prezi Next

I am a new user and just created my first Prezi with Prezi Next and am planning to resent later today. I was just reviewing the presentation again and to my frustration the presenter view isn’t loading correctly. Or rather, it loads, but the screens that are supposed to show where you are in the presentation are black. The text box with notes loads fine. I’ve tried re-booting to no avail. This worked fine last night. Help!

Your answer is for windows users, I’ve asked about mac , could you please help me to solve this problem as soon as possible? Because I have graduation presentation tomorrow morning.

You can use the steps as described here:

  1. Go to the  Apple menu and choose “System Preferences” and then go to “Energy” control panel
  2. Uncheck the box next to “Automatic graphics switching”
  3. Note the text which states this may decrease battery life on the MacBook Pro “When automatic switching is disabled, your computer will always use high-performance graphics. This may decrease battery life.” – if you are not OK with that do not disable this option
  4. Close out of System Preferences

I don’t have this option in my macbook, because I have only Intel HD 4000 .
My model is: macbook pro mid 2012 (Osx 10.12.5)
Is there any other solution for this? :frowning:

I have consulted with a specialist and am I afraid, that as you have an integrated and not a dedicated graphics card, there is, unfortunately, nothing that can be done as GPU disabling is not possible.

We also faced the black screen error which was very annoying. It made editing or presenting almost impossible when using Google Chrome. Fortunately turning off the Hardware Acceleration solved the problem for us. So if anyone else is having the same problem, it might also help you!

I have tried all the suggestions over and there is a left black screen in edit … will use it in a few hours at the meeting and what do I do now? This seems like a waste of money on something that does not work

I can’t even start using Prezi. Just have a black screen that sometimes flashes the work area. If it doesn’t work soon- I want my money back! Tried live chat…still 1st in queue and no on responding. Since I can’t post video- I did a photo burst. Photo shows just a second or two. Top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right.

Guys, I’ve found a simple solution for the BLACK SCREEN either on EDIT MODE or PRESENTER VIEW (I’m using Windows 10 HP computer with Nvidia Geforce):

  1. Rigth Click on "Prezi Next’ shortcut on desktop
  2. Click on “Run with Graphics Processor”
  3. Click on “High Performance NVIDIA Processor”

It seems that by doing this, the program will run with the NVIDIA processor instead of running with the integrated graphics processor (defalt).
The program runs perfectly now. The problem is solved for me.

I was working today, then the screen goed all black with a notice that i could not continue to work. I open the presentation and all is black and no menus:

Hello @Lukspain_Observebroo, can you please try opening Prezi in a different browser? In case the problem persists most likely a firewall or another security software running on your computer is preventing you from accessing our site. I would suggest consulting this tutorial.
