Is it possible to add background music?
That is what we thought Prezi was doing when they said that they were adding the “music” feature like they have in Classic. CLEARLY, we were wrong. It may be another year to get this request moved on . . . .
For the time being, it’s not possible with the current audio feature, but our product team regularly researches other possibilities how it could be expanded.
This seems like a fairly basic feature. Now I have bought Prezi Next I am finding more and more that it can’t do. It’s disappointing. Instead of the standard support response can you give a timeframe for implementation of this feature?
Hi @Vanda just think please, how difficult it is to add a background music feature! I mean this is possibly one of the most common and used feature in any presentation. If you want to showcase your presentation in a continuous loop this is a very needed feature. Right now I don’t see any change in prezi next from its inception till now except may be adding spellchecker. Probably right now the question is, are you really working towards its development or something else is going on?
@Prezi_Video, I am afraid we are not able to disclose our roadmap. However, as soon as we have any updates on the feature, we’ll make sure to post them here.
I hope it will be before my next renewal date along with autoplay and looping autoplay otherwise I will not be able to renew.
Is it possible to add audio file as background audio which is played continually during the whole presentation without interruption when jumping from one topic to another?
If yes, how can I do it?
@Kouklitsa I merged your post into the relevant thread.
Currently, it is not possible to add background music to your presentation but as a workaround we can recommend you to create a screen recording of the presentation and add your music to this video afterwards.
Ok, this has been discussed for 9 months now. When is it coming?
Hello Dear Prezi Next Community
There is a bitter truth nowadays that love is really based on enthusiasm and lust. This situation is shaking the trust of many people in society. If I find my true love one day and our relationship lasts long, I would like to use this template.
Is it possible to add background music while presenting the template?
Hello @Ahmet_Emin_Avci1, I have merged your post to the relevant thread. Currently it is only possible to add one audio file to each topic, subtopic and page in your presentation’s structure, but not to the overview. I apologize for any inconvenience and I’ll pass this request on to our developers.
YAAA! Why is Prezi becoming more and more disappointing? Prezi Classic was wayyyy better and you guys kinda stop offering it and you give us Next, which is just as boring and rigid like Powerpoint. I kept on checking how to add this basic background music to found that you guys haven’t got that feature up yet like seriouslyyy
Hello everyone, we are happy to announce this feature is currently under discussion, and as soon as we have any updates we will let you know
My Prezi presentation will allow me to insert audio on each slide but when I go to the next slide the audio stops. I want to put one song in the background for the entire presentation but can’t seem to find any way to do it.
The current audio feature only allows you to add sound to steps - which can be used to add a voice-over to your presentation in which you describe what your audience supposed to see at the certain steps. Adding a background audio is not possible at the moment. It is on our roadmap, but I can’t share when it’s going to get implemented.
I am trying to add music to go through several slides and play the entire song? Is that not possible? I have seen prezi playing songs while the presentation is playing - they all hit insert background audio? Was this a feature in the past?
Yes, we used to have this feature in Prezi Classic, and as I wrote we plan to add it to Next as well. Will let you know once we have it.
How do you add background music to play to the whole presentation?
Hey @Leevi_BetanCourt I’ve merged your request to the relevant thread, can you check the replies above?
At the moment it’s only possible to add audio on a topic and subtopic level, on the Overview it’s not yet possible. Hope this helps!
