Countdown or timer

Hi there, can you guys help me adding a 5 min timer or countdown once I am on a videocall? Thanks

Hello @Sandra_Milena_Baraja, I think the best solution for this would be to create a presentation and add a video with a timer. Then, you can simply convert it to a Prezi Video and the timer would play while you’re presenting.

Hope this could help!

Your suggestion would work, but it allows for zero flexibility on-the-fly.
For example, I have planned an exercise for the participants. In my planning, I allow 10 min (so I would add a video of a 10-min timer). However, some questions put us a bit behind schedule and I want to allow only 8 min. I’d have to find a video of an 8-min timer, then add it to the prezi, then start it. I’ve just lost my 2 min.
I’m not a coder, but this seems like a simple feature to add, and highly valuable one too.

Hi @Greg_Powell, thanks for your detailed feedback, I’ll forward it to our product team!

Hello!! Any update on the countdown/timer? Would love to utilize this feature during a live class.

Hi @Alyse_Proctor, we do not have a countdown/timer feature implemented in Prezi Video.

As a workaround, you can now share your screen and share any countdown/timer you can find on the internet.

Couldn’t find it and really often need it:
A clock in Prezi Video (like in Presenter Presenter View in Prezi Next, very useful)

Hello @Jesse_van_Akkeren, I’ve merged your question to the relevant topic.

Could you please check the answers above?

Hi Bart,

Sorry i didn’t mean a clock or countdown timer in the presentation but one that only i can see when presenting (could be combined with the presenter notes). Just to keep track of time.

Hi @Jesse_van_Akkeren, it should be possible with our latest release to add a timer that is either visible on your screen or only for yourself in the sidebar. You can access it from the Widgets menu.

Sorry, I meant a clock like a stopwatch, So that I can see how long I have been presenting, not a countdown timer, but the countdown timer in the side panel is a good alternative, Thanks.
