Embedding video offline

Hi,
I have recently downloaded prezi desktop. As a background the presentations i make are confidential and i can not allow it to be uploaded anywhere on internet. This is the main reason why i opted to choose prezi desktop.
Every thing was working fine till i tried to embed a video into my prezi. I am not trying to embed a youtube link.
My problem is this,

  1. I want to embed the video file directly from computer into prezi.
  2. Why does prezi need to upload the video file, even in desktop version? without using youtube links and that too i am uploading the file with supported file format?
  3. Is there any way to embed it without using inter connection?

Hello @Wassam_Muhammad, you can upload a video from directly your computer to the presentation while being offline by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the place in your presentation where you’d like to add the video.

  2. Click the Insert button at the top of your screen, then select Video .

  3. In the sidebar, click Select… and locate the MP4 file you’d like to upload.

  4. After the file uploads, you can move, resize, and rotate the video as needed.

Prezi Next supports MP4 video files with .mp4 extensions and we usually recommend not to insert videos with more than 50MB.
