Error message "There was an error while installing the application. Check the setup log for more information and contact the author."

Hi. I’m almost done with my first use of the platform, and as I try to download Presenter View, I keep getting a notification as seen above. It says “there was an error while installing the application. Check setup log for more info and contact the author” I’m pretty desperate here, and ready to switch to PPT if I can’t get some help. Presentation is in a week!
Thanks for any and all help.
In case it’s useful, what I downloaded is PreziNext-x64-1.7.8.exe
