How to change the view in Prezi Video?

Is it possible to create a video but instead of being present in the video, you see only the text and animations, with the audio recording of a person talking? Imagine it as a presentation with audio on it.

Hello @Karan_Vir_Arya, in Prezi Video you’re able to select between these different views:

  • Camera only view
  • Camera+content view
  • Content only view

If you choose the “Content only”, you won’t show up in the video, only the text and animations. You can easily change the views when recording directly in the screen, or using these keyboard shortcuts.

Hope this could help!

Hi @Kimia_Safaei and @Catarina,

I am doing my thesis entirely on Prezi… so your concern is very pertinent to me !

On my side, I will be running a test in 2 weeks using Logi capture and Zoom. What would be very interesting to have as a feature with Prezi video is to be able to se the presenter in a window (round or restangular and scalable to the size you need) that you can put in front of the Prezi.

Have a great day !

Hello @Marie_Reumont, I merged your post with the relevant thread.

Currently, these are the available views when presenting with Prezi Video, but I’ll forward your recommendation to our Product team

Let us know if you have further questions!

When saving a Prezi to video I do NOT want it to record me. How do I turn that feature off. Prezi will not let me continue until I allow my camera. Thank you.

Hi @Karen_Bowden, I’ve merged your question to the relevant topic.

Could you please check the answers above?

Hello there.
I’m struggling to understand how to manage to begin a Prezi Video presentation with a clean image of the presenteer. The idea is to reveal the info step by step.
Could anyone help me with this simple problem?

Hi @David_Fonseca, you have 3 view options when you are recording or live streaming with Prezi Video:
Camera only
Mixed view
Content only

I would advise you to set the view to Camera only before starting the recording or the live stream, then reveal the content later by changing the view. You can find the keyboard shortcuts for this here.

Hey @Bart.
Just tried that and it works great

Thanks for the tip
