I deleted my presentation, can I recover it?

#21

@Miles_Martin I’ve checked our database but this presentation was completely deleted, I’m afraid, so there is nothing we can do to recover it. I am very sorry!

@Vanda i have the same problem. The 2nd editor lost my whole presentation. He didn’t erase it, I thought he changed the whole data or erased them…
Please save my working hours and my important presentation in 4th September.

Hello, @Ioannis_Gavriilidis. We have reverted your presentation. I hope this helps. Good luck with the presentation!

Hi,
I have a similar issue. My laptop crashed whilst I was amending content last night, and the autosaved version will now not allow ‘Undo’. Please could you revert it to a previous saved version from before yesterday evening? The last ‘proper’ version I’d like will have been saved before 19.30 (BST) on Sunday 2nd Sept and the link is https://prezi.com/71onkgst_hav/edit/?auth_key=7mqh6b9&follow=zvlhs4hectpz#26_238900

Thanks!

Hi, @Ed_Nemeshanyi. The presentation is reverted now, I hope this helps.

Lana, are you there? Is there an email address or a phone number I can reach out to someone? I’ve just been nervously sitting here for 8 hours hoping for a reply to this thread…

#33

Hello, @Dave_Umphress. I am sorry I could not have responded earlier. Please know that if you delete a presentation, for security reasons, we are obliged to delete it right away.

#34

But is it salvageable? It looks like other people above had the same issue, and you were able to recover it?

#35

We can only assist if the content of a presentation is deleted. Once a presentation is completely deleted from an account, there is no way we can recover it, I’m afraid.

@maxime_Meouchy I am very sorry but this presentation is a tutorial that is not supposed to be edited.

Since the owner of the presentation is Joe Onboarding (Prezi itself) and basically every Prezi user is added as a collaborator by default, we cannot track the modifications you made and therefore cannot revert them as the presentation technically does not belong to your account. I apologise for the confusion.

I have backup this presentation on my hard drive, how can i import to my panel.

If you have a portable presentation, you can still present it, of course, however, as it is a view-only stand-alone, it is not possible to upload it, I am afraid.
