Hello Prezi team,
I am experiencing the same problems with the import function on both the Prezi Video APP on my desktop and also the browser version.

Please help look into the issue, as I aim to present on Saturday!

Best
Kevin

On the Prezi video app, I cannot even access the import function.

On the Prezi video browser site, I am able to upload, but it does not display on the screen, nor can I save a version to my desktop.

Thanks
Kevin

Hi, I have the same issue with Windows desktop app, the program crashes as I try to import PPT into the program.

After selecting all slides for import the program closes without any notification. How can I send you the crash logs?

Hi @kevin_lee, could you please detail what you mean by this a bit further?

On the Prezi video browser site, I am able to upload, but it does not display on the screen, nor can I save a version to my desktop.

Our developers are aware of the issue and they are working on a fix.

I am using a Mac (don’t know if that makes a difference). I was able to successfully upload/import a slideshow via the prezi video browser. However, I am unable to see it from my Prezi Video desktop App, when I try to import from Prezi cloud. I am unable to share it with others as collaborator, I am unable to ‘Play’ the uploaded presentation. I only have the edit function available.

Hello @kevin_lee, I understand that you are unable to do these things, but could you please explain what happens exactly when you try to import a PPT either in the browser or the desktop application?

The best would be if you could create a screen recording or take some screenshots of the issue.

Bonjour,
Avez vous des informations suite à ma demande ?
Je vous remercie,

Françoise CLAVIER

Hello all,

Could you please share the PPT you are trying to import to Prezi Video with me?

You can do so by sending me a private message.

Bonjour,

Je vous remercie pour votre retour. Je ne trouve pas a fonctionnalité pour vous joindre mon fichier.
Pouvez vous m’aider ?

Hello @Francoise_CLAVIER, you can use any kind of file sharing service that you trust (Google Drive, Dropbox, Wetransfer, etc) to create a sharing link and send it to me via a private message.

Hope this helps!

Bonjour,
Pourriez me transmettre votre adresse mail, ce serait plus simple pour vous joindre mon fichier.
Merci

Hello @Francoise_CLAVIER, I have received your PPT file and forwarded it to our developers.

After latest update, I can’t import a ppt file in the desktop app. So I have to convert ppt file into lots of jpeg files and import the images. That’s not I expected to purchase this app.

Plz let me know how to resolve the devastating problem.

I tested several computers, and results are same. crash.
OS: win11
cpu: amd, intel
app: desktop app
version: prezi video 4.10.8.0

Hello @11196, I’ve merged your question to the relevant topic.

Would it be possible for you to share the PPT file with me? You should be able to send me a private message with a link to your file.

I don’t think I need to send a file. Because It’s not a single file that had a problem, all the files, and some other files which worked properly until the update don’t works. But if I can reach you throut a private message, I’ll send one. (I don’t know how to send a private message)
I tested, 5 files which works before the update, and tested the 5 files with 4 computers.

@11196 could you please uninstall your current application and retry to install it using this direct link?

Let us know if you’re able to import PPT files afterwards, please!
